Meria integrates Blockspace by Everstake, expanding its Solana validator infrastructure

Solana validators already operate infrastructure that can support more than consensus and staking. Through Blockspace by Everstake, Meria is exploring how this infrastructure can create additional value while connecting validators with users across the Solana ecosystem.

1. What is Blockspace by Everstake?

Blockspace by Everstake is a suite of MEV infrastructure products focused on Solana's inbound transaction path, the route transactions take before reaching a validator block.
Everstake built these tools using infrastructure it had originally developed for its own Solana validator operations, and later made them available as products to other participants across the ecosystem.

Blockspace currently consists of four products:
• ShredStream
• Direct Shreds
• SWQOS
• Relayer + TPU Adapter

Providing access to raw shreds, priority transaction routing, TPU transaction flow and direct bundle submission infrastructure.

Most importantly, Blockspace is more than a collection of products. Everstake has structured Blockspace as a two-sided marketplace connecting validators with users of validator-grade infrastructure.

2. How does Blockspace work?

Blockspace operates as a two-sided marketplace.

On the demand side :
• MEV searchers
• Trading desks and market makers
• DeFi protocols
• Order-flow operators
• Other systems requiring validator-grade Solana infrastructure.

On the supply side: the Solana validators.

Validators already operate valuable infrastructure as part of running the network, including shred propagation, TPU connectivity, and stake-weighted transaction access. Blockspace allows participating validators to make these capabilities available to external users without having to build and sell these services themselves.

Everstake sits between the two sides, aggregating validator infrastructure, matching it with demand, and managing the commercial relationship with end users.

The model can be summarized as: Solana Validators → Blockspace → Searchers / Traders / DeFi / Order Flow.
For validators, Blockspace therefore opens up new uses for infrastructure they already operate beyond traditional staking rewards, while Everstake handles the distribution and commercialization of these services.

3. What are the four Blockspace products?

ShredStream delivers raw Solana shreds before slot confirmation, giving traders, searchers and validators faster access to network data than public RPCs.
Direct Shreds provides a dedicated low-latency shred feed directly from Everstake validator nodes, with isolated bandwidth for consistent performance.
SWQOS provides stake-weighted priority routing, helping transactions reach validators more reliably during network congestion without requiring users to hold their own stake.
Relayer + TPU Adapter gives MEV searchers access to transactions before they are included in a block and provides a direct path to submit response bundles to validators.

4.Validators’ and Meria’s role in Blockspace

As a Solana validator, Meria already operates infrastructure beyond consensus, including shred propagation, TPU connectivity and stake-weighted network access.
By integrating Blockspace, Meria can make these capabilities available through Blockspace’s marketplace to searchers, trading desks, DeFi protocols and order-flow operators, while Blockspace manages the distribution and commercial layer.

This allows us to further optimize the economics of its Solana validator, generating additional SOL-denominated value on top of standard staking rewards from infrastructure already being operated.

The collaboration therefore improves the economic efficiency of our existing infrastructure while maintaining the same validator services for our delegators and institutional partners.

Our work with Blockspace by Everstake reflects Meria’s broader commitment to strengthening validator performance, sustainability, and long-term competitiveness across the networks we support.

5. Key takeaways

Blockspace by Everstake packages infrastructure originally developed around Everstake's own Solana validator into four products: ShredStream, Direct Shreds, SWQOS and Relayer + TPU Adapter. Its two-sided marketplace structure is particularly relevant for validator operators.

Searchers, traders, DeFi protocols and order-flow operators gain access to validator-grade infrastructure, while participating validators can make greater use of shreds, TPU connectivity and stake weight they already operate.

By integrating Blockspace, Meria is extending its Solana validator infrastructure beyond traditional staking, contributing additional infrastructure to the Solana execution ecosystem and exploring new validator reward opportunities.
We look forward to working with Blockspace by Everstake as its validator infrastructure keeps on evolving.
